What is the difference between “Aurora Chasing Adventure” and “Private Aurora Chasing Adventure” ?
Aurora Chasing Adventure
You will join other guests who have booked for the same night (maximum 5 people total).
You will receive photos from the tour, of course, but fewer than on a private tour.

Private Aurora Chasing Adventure
The tour is reserved exclusively for you or your group.
Because I can focus entirely on you, you will receive significantly more photos and videos to take home.
Why are your tours more expensive than most others?
Starting in 2026, the tour price has been adjusted from to $200 per person.
This change reflects rising operational costs, increased demand, and a continued commitment to delivering a high-quality, small-group experience with premium transportation, carefully chosen locations, and extensive professional photography included.
I remain fully dedicated to offering a thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply personal experience. Never mass tourism.
My rates are more expensive than most others for several important reasons:
4. The most important reason: your photos
You will go home with far more photos (and sometimes videos) than on any standard tour.
I always carry 5 cameras, and I understand that your images (especially photos of you under the sky) are a huge part of the experience.
I work exclusively with professional equipment designed for night-sky photography, and your images are delivered the next day after a careful process of selection and editing.
After every tour, I spend hours working on your images so you receive high-resolution digital files that truly reflect the night.
No other tour company in Yellowknife provides this level of photographic service.
If this approach doesn’t match what you’re looking for, another company may be a better fit, and that’s perfectly okay.
Just keep in mind that a comparable experience in Alaska or Norway would typically cost almost three times more.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that unexpected events happen and plans can change. If you encounter an issue with your flight or need to reschedule your tour with me, please contact me as early as possible so we can find a solution. It's very likely that we'll be able to reschedule the tour for the following day or come up with an alternative plan.

Tours are non-refundable if canceled less than 7 days before the scheduled date.

I’m sorry, but I can no longer offer refunds in cases of flight cancellations. For this reason, I strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to protect yourself against unexpected travel disruptions.

If, for any reason, I have to cancel the tour, you will receive a 100% refund.
Bad Weather and Cancellations
One of the goals of our Aurora Chasing is to avoid clouds and seek out the best spots with clear skies for viewing the auroras. This means that our Aurora Chasing Adventure will proceed even if the sky is cloudy in Yellowknife. However, there may be nights when the weather conditions are particularly challenging. In such cases, we will be in contact during the afternoon to make a joint decision. If we agree that it's best not to go out, you will receive a 100% refund.
