Aurora Photo EDITING WORKSHOP

150 CAD + GST /person

3 hours workshop
Maximum: 5 people

This is more than an aurora tour. It’s a private night in the field where I help you learn how to photograph the Northern Lights while we chase them together.

Beginners, experienced photographers, professional cameras and smartphones are all welcome. We’ll work on settings, focus, exposure and composition, and review your photos as we go.

Transportation from Yellowknife is included in my 4x4 Chevrolet Suburban. My goal is simple: I want you to go home with aurora photos you created yourself and are proud of.

Professional camera equipment can also be rented.
You can also add my daytime Aurora Photo Editing Workshop to complete the process.

Contact me for details and let’s make it happen.

Got aurora photos that look too dark, too green or too noisy? Let’s fix them.

In this daytime workshop, we’ll work on your own photos in Lightroom, whether they were taken with a professional camera or a smartphone. We’ll cover colour, exposure, noise, masks and simple ways to make your images look better without making them look fake.

This is a great follow-up to an aurora tour or to my Private Aurora Photography Workshop. Bring your laptop and your photos, and we’ll work on them together.

If time allows, we can also cover the basics of aurora timelapses.

I recognize that we gather in Chief Drygeese territory. From time immemorial, it has been the traditional land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. I respect the histories, languages, and cultures of all other Indigenous Peoples, including the North Slave Métis, and all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community.
